Japan–Australia Critical Minerals Industry Dialogue 2026


Presented by the Critical Minerals Association Australia (CMAA), with the support of the Australia–Japan Business Co-operation Committee (AJBCC) and hosted locally by Deloitte Tohmatsu Group, the Dialogue provides a dedicated platform for strategic discussion on investment, midstream capability, innovation and resilient supply chains.


Held in the margins of the 63rd Australia–Japan Joint Business Conference, the Dialogue is designed to foster meaningful engagement between Australian and Japanese stakeholders, identify practical pathways for collaboration, and strengthen long-term partnerships across the critical minerals ecosystem.
